Wearing bright orange ING jackets, GoMODELS greeted New York City morning commuters with smiles and free Wall Street Journal papers. Street teams were placed in mid-town neighborhoods to catch people on their way to work and brighten their day with ING’s signature color.

Ermenegildo Zegna teamed up with Wall Street Journal to promote the world-renowned men’s fashion line with slick newspaper wrappers. With GoMODELS strategically placed in high-traffic locations in New York City, morning commuters were excited about the free newspaper and artful Zegna exterior. The Italian line, known for both extremes: couture and sport, definitely made an impact with its advertisement just in time for the Zegna Global Store opening on 5th Avenue.

The teams publicized the release of the new Nora Roberts book titled, Strangers in Death by handing out her first novel Naked in Death and generated a frenzy of interest - enough to distribute over 22,000 copies in two days! And when the books hit the shelves, people will be buzzing about this gripping new murder mystery!

Chicago and New York City received some much-appreciated lip service when Scottsdale Tourism sent GoMODELS to the chilly cities with pucker soothing goodies! With GoMODELS placed right outside subway stations in both cities, commuters not only got their free tube of branded lip balm, but also the chance to win a trip to sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. The concept of free lip balm was so enticing to passersby, that lines actually formed in New York, as people couldn’t wait to get their hands on the freebies.

Nintendo Gets Their Adwalker LCD On
Donning portable TV screens, GoMODELS at convention centers in Washington DC and San Francisco showed off the new generation of guerilla marketing. Each model sported an Adwalker LCD screen that looped the trailer for the new Nintendo DS game, Professor Layton. The game is the first to offer a story and cast of characters, as well as brainteasers and puzzles that unlock the mysteries of the animated village. Everyone who came across the TV sporting models were so entranced by the medium, that they stuck around to watch the entire trailer and ask lots of questions about the concept!

Scottsdale Tourism Tempts People in Cold Climates
Using Street Teams to promote Scottsdale Tourism, GoMODELS handed out branded thermometers to passersby in the cold of Chicago and New York, reminding everyone how much warmer it is in Arizona. Street Teams focused on commuter rail stations and enthusiastically relayed the message that sunny Scottsdale was the cure for the winter blues. In addition, the thermometers included a chance to win a trip, ensuring interest was especially high on such frigid days in both cities.

New Line Targets Holiday Audience with GoGORILLA Out-of-Home Capabilities
New Line chose the run-up to New Years Eve to get an extra-special message out to consumers about the release of Rush Hour 3 on DVD. Giant, glowing Projections greeted the public in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami on December 29th, and GoMODEL Street Teams charmed the crowds on New Year’s Eve with free hot chocolate and light-up maracas. Featuring four guys with jet packs dispensing hot chocolate and two girls making sure maracas got into as many hands as possible, New Line’s Street Teams were delighted to have added a Rush Hour touch to the festivities on the biggest night of the year.

Bloomingdales Uses GoMODELS for College Target
The Bloomingdale’s GoMODEL campaign on December 5th and 7th was a tremendous success. 10 GoMODEL teams handed out $50 Bloomingdale’s gift cards around college and university campuses in New York, Chicago, Washington DC, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The cards were specifically for high-end denim in the men’s departments of Bloomingdales’ stores, and the response from the students was overwhelming. Word spread around the campuses quickly, and thousands of happy consumers walked away with new jeans in mind for the holidays.

GoMODEL Street Teams promoted the Delaware State Lottery game RAFFLE at eight ACME locations in New Castle & Kent counties. Customers were both enthused to be reminded of the limited, holiday release of the game and happy to receive free RAFFLE-branded nylon shopping bags with hand tags and note pads. Many people remembered the RAFFLE game from last year, and our Street Teams were happy to inform them that it was on sale again at ACME counters.
