San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City were bombarded in promotion of KennethColeBlog.com. From the dark griminess of the cities’ sidewalks, emerged white, block letter messages: “Stand By Your Word”, “Concrete Opinions Wanted” among others.

Coffee Cup Advertising - Olympus Takes a Picture

GoCUP/GoZarf Campaign a Steaming Cup of Innovation

Olympus took Coffee Cup Advertising to new heights this winter by combining GoCUPS and GoZARFS for a campaign with tremendous innovative impact. To showcase the new E-510’s Live View LCD feature, each of literally millions of GoCUPS were beautifully printed with scenic, full-color creatives, one featuring a surfer riding a huge wave and the other showing elephants lumbering across the African Savannah. Matching GoZARF coffee sleeves were made to look like an E-510 SLR camera, and die-cut to slip over the cups and show either the surfer or the elephant in large-format view screen! With massive distribution in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington DC, this Coffe Cup Advertising campaign is perhaps the biggest and most elaborate ever put into action!

Paramount Takes to the Sidewalks to Drum Up Buzz for Eerie Disaster Film

To further the already existing buzz surrounding the upcoming release of the movie “Cloverfield,” Paramount Pictures chose Sidewalk Advertising to give their campaign an original, under-the-radar push. Specialized WaterStencil teams hit the streets in three markets including Miami, Los Angeles, and San Francisco and put down 376 stencils in 161 high traffic locations. Our team chose areas specific to the movie’s demographic appeal and made the message “What is Cloverfield?” a curious and spooky bit of Sidewalk Advertising to get people thinking!

Sidewalk Advertising - Terra.com Takes to the Streets

Nationwide Campaign Employs WaterStencils and GoSidewalkStencils

Terra.com made nationwide use of the iconic branding of WaterStencil (with a bit of traditional Sidewalk Stenciling thrown in), taking Sidewalk Advertising to unprecedented heights. Beginning shortly before Christmas, a total of 356 WaterStencils appeared at 195 locations in New York, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Miami. Chalk spray GoSidewalkStencils were employed in Chicago and New York, adding an additional 73 locations in vibrant orange. As always, GoGORILLA strove for high-traffic locations, ensuring Terra’s Sidewalk Advertising achieved the highest impression numbers possible in all markets.

GoGORILLA Media, in conjunction with TargetCast tcm, executed a promotion on behalf of TIAA-CREF, the leader in retirement planning for those in the academic, medical, cultural and research fields. This promotional event was held in Ann Arbor, MI at the Ann Arbor Farmers’ Market located at 315 Detroit St. On both dates, shoppers were engaged by 5 GoMODELS who greeted them at every entrance with a smile and a free branded GoTOTE BAG to use for their purchases. The models also directed traffic to a TIAA-CREF booth staffed by local TIAA-CREF representatives who answered questions on retirement planning. While at the booth, every person there was given an opportunity to win a free IPod buy guessing the number of apples that were in a 40 gallon barrel.

Cellular phone provider nTelos was looking to reach out to Virginia and West Virginia in a way that would really get people’s attention. GoGORILLA Media employed its unique GoMONEY strategy to distribute 114,000 nTelos-branded dollar bills to a variety of venues including grocery stores, convenience stores, cafes, and family restaurants in nine local markets. The distribution was completed successfully and the positive feedback from venues hosting the nTelos GoMONEY was overwhelming. As the bills passed from hand to hand, the buzz and excitement was palpable among consumers, almost all of whom had never seen advertising on money before.

GoGORILLA Stages Wallet-Drop in San Francisco for Dockers

For an innovatively stealth promotion for Dockers, GoGORILLA teams fanned out in downtown San Francisco and “lost” several hundred Dockers branded wallets. The drop locations included BART/MUNI stations, the financial district, the Westfield Centre, Union Square, the Metreon, the Ferry building, and the Union Street shopping area. It turned out that scattering single wallets around these high-traffic areas got tons of attention, and the new Dockers Store in San Francisco got incredible buzz. All wallets were picked up within minutes by concerned citizens, who were soon charmed by Dockers’ original idea.
