Money Advertising - Bank Advertises on Money

Well, That Makes Sense!

Bank of Tennessee chose buzz-generating GoMONEY to promote itself in 4 major markets. Branded GoMONEY stickers were affixed to 40,000 $1 Bills and distributed to local venues. Change was made with the bills, and customers were amazed and amused by the call to action (a url for a Bank of Tennessee website) reaching them through the unlikely medium of cashola.

D.C. Tourism Stages a Multi-Faceted Campaign in New York

When the tourism bureau of Washington D.C. needed to turn heads in New York, they called GoGORILLA. We put together a campaign that included GoMODELS handing out branded GoCARDS, GoMONEY put into circulation via local venues, GoCLINGS gracing the windows of many more businesses, and, as a press-generating special feature, Fine Art Painters and Fun Art Caricaturists working in public and incorporating Washington landmarks in their creations. New Yorkers had many, many reasons to think of DC for their next trip!

Bodog.com sought non-traditional means of promoting it’s non-traditional website, and contacted GoGORILLA for a bonanza of innovative advertising strategies. Employing GoCARDS, GoMODELS, GoCOASTERS, Stealth Bookmarking, GoPROJECTION and the ever-sensational GoMONEY, Bodog.com got its message across in ways that pointed clearly to its iconoclastic image.

To promote new HSBC Branches in 4 markets, the popular bank employed GoMONEY (the distribution of branded US currency in targeted retail venues) and branded GoCUPS distributed to coffee shops, delis and convenience stores in the area of the branches. The media were a huge success and received much comment in host venues, with many of the GoMONEY stickered singles making their way to the branches they advertised!

Geena Davis takes Washington’s Spot on Dollar Bills for ABC

The provocative series Commander in Chief used GoMONEY to get the word out in a surprising way in New York, Los Angeles, Boston and Washington DC. GoGORILLA secured distribution in 81 retail locations for the placement of 101,000 $1 bills. The bills went directly into the registers and were distributed as change, to the surprise and delight of consumers. ABC cleverly incorporated the Dollar’s design elements into their creative, making their first female president the temporary face of our currency!
